Born and raised in Tembisa, East Rand, Kane Keid first found his voice in 2016, performing for school audiences and drawing inspiration from his upbringing and the sounds of old-school Hip-Hop, Soul, and R&B. Over time, he honed his craft and made his mark within the South African Hip-Hop scene, gaining national attention when he reached the top 10 in the Put Me On competition by Sportscene.

He has performed at major events including Cotton Fest, Sneaker Exchange, and Back To The City Festival, where he shared the stage with international star Benny The Butcher. With over 300,000 streams on Spotify and more than 128,000 Instagram followers, Kane Keid is fast establishing himself as a force within the local industry.
